You are responsible for the following information:

• All Ch.1 notes (Intro. to Tourism, Hospitality & Tourism Intro notes, Reasons for the Growth of Tourism)
• All Ch.1 questions that were assigned
• All Key Terms

Atlas/Map Quiz (Friday, March 2)

• You must fill in a blank map of Canada (provinces & territories only)
• You must know the location (which province) of all the Canadian cities (from overhead)
• You must fill in a blank map of the United States with the following states: Texas, Kansas, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, Colorado, California, Alaska, Maine, Florida, New Mexico, Oklahoma.

C&D:

• Discussed upcoming quizzes/assignments
• Worked on Ch.2 questions -- due tomorrow (there will be a homework check)
• Some started to work on their "Recruitment Poster" which is due next week

Monday, Feb.26

Block C & D:

• Talked about upcoming quizzes: Thursday (Ch.1) & Friday (Atlas/maps)
• Reviewed and copied down provinces/states onto maps (Canada & U.S) -- overhead
• Identified the state which each city was located in.
• 2006 VG assignment is due tomorrow. After Tue. you will lose 10% per day (up to a max. of 3 days -- and then I will no longer accept the assignment).
• Some started Ch.2 questions

Block D & C:

• Worked on 2006 Visitor's Guide booklet (due Monday if not already passed in)
• Ch.2 Questions -- worked on if finished the booklet
• Notes on "Motivators for Travel" -- overhead
• Quiz on Chapter 1 (Wed)
• Atlas Quiz (Thur)
• Poster relating to the job fair is due on Friday.
